The community of Tenby has been shocked and saddened by the passing of well-known community figure, Mrs. Doreen Hammersley BEM.

She slipped away peacefully, on Sunday, February 21, with her family by her side.

She was aged 89.

She lived life to the full and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

The funeral service will take place on Monday, February 29, at St. Mary’s Church, Tenby, at 2.30 pm, and will be followed by interment at Tenby New Cemetery.
