TWELVE-year-old Tenby boy, Gavin Kinsey (pictured) has been celebrating after winning a medal in his first ever triathlon event.
Gavin came a well deserved second in the contest held at Cymer, Neath on Saturday.
Competition was tough as boys as far away as England made the journey to Wales, but Gavin gave his all in the 200-metre swim, three-kilometre bike ride and a 1.6-kilometre run, to finish in second spot.
Gavin has also been invited for Welsh trials next season.
