Information at six important locations in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is now just a mobile phone call away. For a maximum 30p, callers can dial in to a trial information service called TEL.ME. Visitors and local people can obtain a range of information via an interactive menu, in English or Welsh. Whether it is information on the local area or a heritage site, the service is just a phone call away. The TEL.ME service - the first in Wales - is being pioneered this season at North Beach, Tenby; Wiseman's Bridge, near Saundersfoot; Carew Castle picnic site; Fishguard Fort car park; Caerfai Bay, near St. Davids, and at Bwlch Gwynt, on the northern flank of the Preseli Hills. At each location a sign will be displayed with the special number 0871 504 9522. Calls to this number cost just 10p a minute and the maximum message of three minutes will only set the caller back 30 pence. If successful, the service can be expanded to include other places of special interest in the National Park.
