Friday saw the first round of the Seniors Trophy. The winner was Kirk Ivan with 36 points, while second and third with 34 points were Bob Burks and Roger Cryer. The Saturday Bogey was won by junior Elliot Scotcher on +1; he wins a £12 pro-shop credit. Runners-up on 'SQ' were Bob Maxwell and Malcolm Ruff, who both earned themselves £6 pro-shop credit. Birdie 2s were carded by Rob Evans and Graham Longster, both winning £10 pro-shop credit. For the ladies, it was Fair Fraser on SQ who won £6 pro-shop credit, with Liz Crockford runner-up on –6 and winning £4 pro-shop credit. No birdie 2s came from the ladies, while the bag draw was won by Vicky Burks, who receives £6 pro- shop credit.
FORTHCOMING EVENT
Make a note in your diary for March 9 as there will be a junior-adult 12-hole greensome foursomes competition. Tee-off will be at 9.30 am. Be sure to add your name to the list in the pro-shop.
