Sir, Perhaps the person who said that the trees along the South Parade were a danger to the public should also adjust his glasses in the direction of another problem area. The trees along the pavement outside St. Teilo's Catholic School have lifted the tarmac pavement very severely - that you might say is the root of any tree problem. I have witnessed several children and one lady tripping when walking along that stretch of pavement. When will the first insurance claim be made? Large trees in the school playground have not been cut back - why are they waiting for an accident to happen? I have written to Tenby Town Council about the said pavement, but have received no reply, and there's no improvement to the tarmac pavement! I hope that it won't be me who trips over the lifted tarmac when I alight from the bus (which stops there for anyone to visit the library). If it is, then the council will have a call from one of the numerous accident firms on my behalf!
Mr. A. R. Williams,
