St. Govan's Coastguard Rescue Team were called out to assist with the search for a dog which had gone missing at St. Govan's Head at lunchtime on Sunday.

After searching, the team sadly located the dog, which was deceased, at the bottom of the cliff.

The owner proceeded to climb down to the dog, but subsequently had to be assisted by the Coastguard after he got cut off by the tide.
