Traffic lights situated on main routes into Tenby are causing a major ‘inconvenience’ ahead of Christmas, local councillors claimed this week.
Speaking at Tuesday night’s meeting of the town council, Mayor, Clr. Paul Rapi, told his colleagues that traffic lights on both the main roads into the town were causing great inconvenience, with his colleague Clr. Mrs. Tish Rossiter agreeing.
“As a resident of Narberth Road, I never had a letter about these works, and it’s proving very hard for myself and my neighbours to get out of our homes, as we don’t know where we are,” she said.
“I believe the works are for electrical reasons, which I appreciate obviously need to be carried out, but it’s just been done very, very badly, with no regards for the people living on that road,” added Clr. Mrs. Rossiter.
