Councillors in Tenby are still pushing for a meeting about the proposed Brynhir development, despite being told that an update on the scheme was not imminent.
Discussions where members of the town council were due to meet with representatives from Pembrokeshire County Council, Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority, and prospective developers, were recently put on hold and have yet to be rescheduled.
At Tuesday night’s meeting of the town council, the town clerk told members that he had heard from the county council’s head of property, Barry Cooke, on the matter, who had said that PCC had taken a decision on a preferred bidder, but until solicitors were instructed, then they were reluctant to hold a meeting on any updates just yet.
