Pictured with his hard-earned cup is Tommy D'ortez, of Penally, after winning the Laser Open Sea Cadet Sailing Championships in Weymouth last week. Tommy sails for Tenby Sea Cadets and goes on to defend his British national title in September which was brought to Wales for the first time last year. Tommy has also recently been selected by the Tall Ships Youth Trust to voyage on the 'Prince William' in October.
