Tinman Tuesday volunteers are thankful to residents and visitors who are continuing to support local Foodbanks at this difficult time (writes Sharron Hardwick).

Groups of Tinman Tuesday supporters meet across the county to collect tins, packet food and toiletries to donate to local Foodbanks like PATCH and Pembrokeshire Foodbank. Tinman Tuesday group setups vary, but the kindness and generosity of Pembrokeshire residents and those visiting the county are overflowing.

Tinman Tuesday founder Wyndham Williams’ camper van is often full with donations from Tinman Narberth for Pembrokeshire Foodbank and the Tuk Tuks are still being stacked up with items from Kilgetty and surrounding areas which they collect twice weekly, donating alternately to PATCH and Pembrokeshire Foodbank. Heritage Park are also big Tinman Tuesday supporters; lodge owners and park visitors place their donations in the Heritage Park collection point box.

Tinman Tuesday organisers expressed their thanks saying: “We can’t thank people enough for their kind donations. We are overwhelmed with the collections and are so please that we can continue to support local charities which are helping people facing very difficult times. Every item donated makes a difference. and we hope people will continue to support. ”
