An audience of 450 was transported back to the days of platform boots, batwing capes and satin suits when Abba Magic performed at Folly Farm on the final evening of a very successful Tenby Arts Festival week. The tribute band stormed through a procession of hits by the famous Swedish songsters and kept a delighted audience amused with their 'Scandinavian' banter. The band's two-hour set began with a rocking version of Abba's first hit, 'Waterloo', and the hits kept coming, delivered with uncanny accuracy by lookalike and soundalike Frieda, Agnetha, Benni and Bjorn. The audience came to bop in front of the stage to 'Dancing Queen' and stayed there for the rest of the evening as the band powered through 'Super Trooper' and 'Knowing me, knowing you'. This was a fond tribute to the music of this hugely successful and innovative group who were Sweden's greatest export. As fireworks blazed and lights flashed through a blistering 'Thank you for the music' the audience could reflect on the enduring popularity of Abba's songs and the professionalism of this sparkling tribute band .
