Pembrokeshire County Council planners have given the thumbs up to a new store at Kilgetty.
At their meeting on Tuesday, they approved an application by the Co-operative Group (CWS) Ltd., to erect a retail store (class A1) and car park with revised access and landscaping at the Co-op Pioneer Store and adjoining land at Carmarthen Road.
The application was for outline planning permission to build a new retail store - 3,250-square metres gross - to the south of the existing one, to retain the existing premises in a re-modelled form as small retail units on the Carmarthen Road frontage and provide a revised access off Carmarthen Road.
