Whitland's resurgence of form continued on Saturday when they made it three wins in a row with a 34 points to 20 victory over Beddau at Parc Llwyn Ty Gwyn.
Two first half tries by centre Lee Banfield helped the Green and Whites to a 21-10 interval lead and, while the visitors re-grouped to reduce the arrears to just one point in the third quarter, a late Borderers surge was enough to secure the points in this division one clash.
Centre Daniel Rogers and wing Steve Hartland combined to send Banfield over to open Whitland's account.
Skipper Daniel Griffiths added the conversion, but some slipshod handling allowed Beddau to get back on terms with a Chris Jones interception try, converted by scrum-half Greg Jones.
Another Banfield try, converted by Griffiths, put the Borderers back in the driving seat, before Jones reduced the deficit with a penalty.
As Whitland started to gain the upper hand in the forward exchanges, prop Romeo Collella made some hard yards before sending fullback Gavin Morris over for a try which Griffiths again converted.
After the oranges, Griffiths also added a penalty, but Beddau refused to throw in the towel, clawing their way back into contention with a Huw Williams try and a conversion and penalty from Jones.
However, the Whitland pack stepped up a gear in the closing stages, with prop Ricky Davies going over for a try which Giffiths converted.
Always an inspiration, Griffiths also had the final say when he slotted over a penalty to put the result beyond doubt.
