Holidaymakers, locals, families and teenagers have flocked to Oakwood Theme Park's After Dark event in their thousands to experience live entertainment and the thrills of Oakwood's world-class rides by night. The park has been open throughout the summer from 10 am until 10 pm and crowds have been entertained with live singing and dancing on both the indoor and outdoor stage, a dancing water fountain display choreographed to music and illuminated rides. After Dark came to an end on Tuesday and Paddy McNamara, managing director at Oakwood, said: "This year's event has been a resounding success, the indoor theatre has been full to capacity every night, proving that live entertainment is still a very popular family activity. We have had rave reviews from customers who have also commented on how impressive the rides look lit up and the extra thrill it has given them riding in the dark!" Oakwood will remain open from 10 am until 5 pm until September 25.
