Thirty hardy dippers celebrated the New Year with a dip in the sea at Wiseman's Bridge on Wednesday.
This is only the third year the charity New Year's Day swim has taken place and this year's event saw a dedicated band of swimmers turning out to head for the waves after the Christmas disaster at the Wiseman's Bridge Inn, which had threatened to leave the event in disarray.
As in previous years, the bathers, many of whom were in fancy dress, are supporting LATCH.
