MANY of us are interested in the history and archaeology of this special part of Wales.
As part of its series of annual lectures, Michael Ings from Dyfed Archaeology will be at Tenby Museum and Art Gallery on Friday, July 15, to talk about finds and developments in the archaeology of Pembrokeshire and the surrounding area, including the intriguing story of the 'Lydstep Pig'.
This creature was found with arrow heads embedded in the skeleton and there are some interesting theories about its final demise. Some mysterious footprints in the rock, also found at Lydstep, present an even more curious story.
The museum is very pleased to be able to invite everyone to what promises to be a truly fascinating evening.
Spaces are very limited so it is advisable to book your seat as early as possible by e-mail [email protected]">[email protected] or 'phoning 842809. Admission £5 or £4 for Friends of the Museum with current membership cards.
