Span Arts is thrilled to announce that The Jungle Book, everyone’s favourite adventure story, will be coming to the Queen’s Hall, Narberth, tomorrow.

Inspired by the spirit of Kipling’s original books, the story is told through stunning shadow theatre, powerful original music and colourful digital projections. Mowgli’s daring adventures in the dangerous world he inhabits, are vividly brought to life by Indigo Moon Theatre’s wonderfully inventive shadow puppetry, original music and brightly coloured digital projection.

This visually mesmerising and ancient form of storytelling brings us this well-known classic, in which Mowgli the ‘man-cub,’ fearless and free, finds fun and friendship, living by the Law of the Jungle.

As he matures, the story follows his many adventures alongside the myriad creatures around him. These include Baloo the bear and Bagheera the black panther, who become his tutors and protectors.

This intense and captivating world comes to life with moving images of the jungle and the creatures that live there. Hear the strange noises, feel the warm ground alive with activity and the thrill of this contemporary tale: the eternal quest for love, identity and belonging in the heat and buzzing activity of the central Indian jungle.

Don’t miss this chance for the whole family to be thrilled and mesmerised by Indigo Moon’s beautiful shadow puppetry production of The Jungle Book at the Queen’s Hall, Narberth, on Tuesday, February 21.
