A talent competition took place on Friday evening as part of the Pembroke Dock Summer Festival. Staged in the Pater Hall, there were 14 different acts scheduled to perform on the evening, with children from Pennar Community School, Pembroke Dock Community School and Pembroke School taking part. All of the talents showcased by the children on the night were outstanding and the judges struggled during deliberation to choose between them. It was, however, finally decided that first place should go to Toby Davies for his phenomenal street dancing skills, second place to Rebecca Beynon for her outstanding singing and third place to Kyle Jennings for his fantastic singing and stage presence. The event was such a success it has been agreed by the group for the event to take place again next year.
