Following the success of last year's event for the national Big Draw Campaign, Tenby Museum and Art Gallery is once again inviting back local artist and museum volunteer Doug Perry to undertake another such event.
Entitled 'The Big Draw: Drip and Pour', Doug will explain through hands-on demonstrations the concept behind Action Painting as epitomised by the American artist Jackson Pollock. There will be the opportunity for all participants to produce their own piece of action painting which they can then take away with them.
The event will take place at the museum on Wednesday, October 29, between 10 am and 12 pm. It is suitable for all ages, but there is a limit to the number of participants able to take part so please contact the museum on (01834) 842809 to ensure a place.
As part of the Big Draw, the museum is also holding a Meet the Artist Day with current exhibiting artist Pamela Scott Wilkie on Thursday, October 30, between 2 and 4 pm.
