Sir, We have just returned from our annual trip to Tenby and despite the weather we did have, as usual, a lovely day on St. Catherine's Beach in your beautiful town. I have been asked to write to express our thanks and appreciation to the young man who manned the deckchairs and who was so co-operative and helpful to many of our group, especially the elderly. He carried deckchairs, provided a spade to dig for the parasols and, as one of our ladies said, "nothing was too much trouble for him." In days when many young people have a bad reputation for their attitudes, this young man was exceptional and that's why many from our group asked me to write to express their appreciation. I understand his name was 'Jack' and was from Tenby. Please convey to him our thanks in making the day extra special for many of our group and our good wishes for the future.
