Sir,
May I take this opportunity through your letters page to say a truly heartfelt thank you to Mr. Rodney Jameson, chairman of the Tenby Romanian Charity for all his time effort and dedication, without which we as a committee could not have survived these past 10 years.
His enthusiasm for fund-raising has been an inspiration to us all, without which any of the projects which were elected would have not got off the ground.
He is a most generous and thoughtful gentleman who has worked tirelessly above and beyond the call of duty.
Along with his wife Margaret they have welcomed and helped endless children from Romania to see a side of life that they could have only dreamed about.
Most of our committee meetings have taken place at their home where we have always been made to feel part of an extended family.
Words cannot really express the gratitude for someone who has given his all and more for a really worthy cause.
It has been a privilege to know Margaret and Rodney, whom I would not have met, but for the charity.
Once again a deep heartfelt thanks for all your years of dedication.
