I should be grateful if you would allow me to use the letters column to record publicly my thanks to Nick Thomas for all his hard-work in setting-up the gig and auction in the rugby club and at St. Florence in August.

It helped to keep alive the memory of my late husband Dicky, who dearly loved a blues jam, and raised an impressive amount for Withybush, where he died despite their efforts, and the Sea Cadets, of which he was treasurer and a staunch supporter. 

Thanks again, Nick - keep on trucking!
