Through your columns we wish to convey our sincere gratitude to the following in respect of our End Polio Now campaign:

Tenby Infants School -Headmistress Gill John and her staff together with the young children made a fantastic effort to support us as reported in the Tenby Observer last week.

Tenby Junior School - Similarly, headmistress Jan Llewellyn and her staff also did us proud. The children were most attentive during our presentation and the two films. Hopefully they are now more aware of polio and Rotary's intention to completely eradicate the disease worldwide.

Sainsbury's - Our bucket collection last Saturday in conjunction with Saundersfoot Rotary Club was very successful. We wish to thank the store and, of course, the Tenby public for their generosity and many of the town's youth in particular.
