Last week, Tenovus, Wales' leading cancer charity, re-opened their Pembroke shop on Main Street.
The shop has been transformed and extended into the previously vacant site located next door.
The charity has had a fixed presence on the Pembroke high street for many years and the shop has generated significant income for the charity, enabling them to continue to support those affected by cancer in West Wales.
The town Mayor, Clr. Miss Mel Phillips, officially re-opened the shop.
Natalie Kell, Tenovus area manager for Mid and West Wales, said: "It's fantastic to be re-opening our shop in Pembroke.
"We have had a great first week with a significant increase in our takings which once again shows how wonderfully we are supported by the community here. We are extremely grateful to all those who have donated their unwanted clothing and books to help support the new shop.
"We are not funded by the government, so it's the kindness of those who give to our shops that enables us to carry on our work. But we always need more support to reach those who need us, whether that be helping us as a volunteer or by donating any unwanted goods.
"Every bit of support, no matter how big or small, can really help to make life-changing differences to cancer patients and their families in Wales.
If you would like to donate unwanted goods, please visit the shop at 23 Main Street, Pembroke. If you are interested in volunteering, please call Tenovus on 029 2076 8850 or email [email protected]">[email protected]
