For the second time in succession, pupils at Tenby Infants School raised more money than any other school in Wales at the annual Barnardos Toddle
The school raised an outstanding £1,226.50 at the sponsored toddle held on Tenby's North Beach during last term, with staff at Tenby's Barclays Bank adding another £350 from their £1 for £1 scheme to help local communities to boost the total raised for the national children's charity to £1,526.50.
Chairman of Pembrokeshire branch of Barnardos, Mr. Roy Edge, and regional fund-raiser, Eileen Denekamp, paid a visit to the school on Friday to thank pupils and staff for all their efforts. They are pictured here with headteacher Mrs. Gill John, deputy headteacher Mrs. Linzi Harrison and all the staff and pupils.
