A Tenby youngster has given a charity a big boost by having her long locks chopped.

Around Christmas time Georgia Diane Coates, of The Clicketts, decided to help the Little Princess Trust charity, that provides real hair wigs for children who have suffered hair loss due to cancer treatment.

In February, during the commencement of the Six Nations, Georgia underwent the hair cut at Tenby’s Ex-Servicemen’s Club, with local hairdresser Jamie Hughes doing the honours.

Throughout the rugby tournament, a bucket for donations was placed on the club’s bar, and thanks to the generosity of customers, friends and family, an amazing £1,000 was raised for the worthwhile charity.

Georgia would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who donated and her family would like to say how proud they are of their little girl. Well done Georgia!
