Tenby WI Country Market celebrated 40 years of trading with customers and producers enjoying a taste of cake and a glass of wine. Guest-of-honour was founder chairman, Mrs. K. Lort Phillips, of Lawrenny.
The first market was held in the early '60s in Brychan Yard, Upper Frog Street, later moving to St. Johns Church Hall, Warren Street.
They are open every Friday morning at 8.30 am with a large selection of home-baked goods, preserves, freshly cut flowers and plants, organic vegetables and fruit, free range eggs and all kinds of craft work.
They are always looking for new producers and customers, so why not pop in on a Friday morning and find out more.
The AGM will be held on Monday, December 3, at the WI Hall, Kilgetty, at 10 am.
