Speeding motorists and those who use their cars for anti-social behaviour in Tenby are to be targeted by police. The concerns were issues raised as priorities at the recent Tenby Neighbourhood Policing Forum. The Neighbourhood Police Team informed the meeting that in the last month, 160 fixed penalty notices were issued which were spread between parking on double yellow lines, parking in residents bays, parking in no loading bays, disabled bays and bus bays. The meeting raised concerns over speeding around the town and vehicles being used anti-socially in the multi-storey car park and The Salterns car park. PCSO David Idwal said: "We and our colleagues from the roads policing unit will be targeting those who are using their vehicles to cause misery for others. "We are warning people who use their vehicle in an anti-social way or do not have proper documents for it that they can risk having it taken off them." The team will also be looking at problems with underage drinking and anti-social behaviour and will be confiscating alcohol off young people and taking their names and addresses.
