Chairman Mary-Lou extended a warm welcome to members and to guests, Louise, chairman of Tenby Ladies Circle, and especially to Julia, who was visiting from Qatar, to the summer meeting. A thank you card was received from Averil for the flowers she had received on becoming a grandmother again and congratulations were extended to Ingrid on the news that she was to become a grandmother. Shave or Style for Macmillan Cancer Support - on Thursday, July 31, from 6 pm, Janina Louise is holding a fund-raiser in the salon to raise money for this very worthy cause. The highest bidder will shave Janina's hair off! Please support her. During the meeting, members wished Jane M a happy birthday. To help when arranging meetings, it would be appreciated if all members could respond to the invitation to dinner, whether attending or not. Thank you to The Moorings restaurant for the excellent meal enjoyed by everyone and to Ellen and Ann for organising the evening. The raffle was won by Ingrid, Ellen (who kindly donated it back) and Mary Lou. The next meeting will be Wednesday, September 17, and arrangements will be made by Cath and Edna.
