The Tenby Surf Lifesaving Club have started the summer season with a number of members gaining qualifications over the past couple of weeks. Two members, namely David Thomas and Dan Harries, have both gained their NARS beach lifeguard award which qualifies them to work as professional lifeguards on beaches throughout the world. Cian Johnson, Cameron and Murray Phillips, have all gained surf competence and board competence awards which give them the knowledge and skills in identifying rip current, how waves are formed, communication and rescue skills using a board and other rescue equipment. Tenby Surf Lifesaving Club will help you gain skills in lifesaving, surf knowledge and first aid, as well as having outlets in to the sport of surf lifesaving.
