Tenby United Seconds continued their winning sequence last Saturday with a win over a strong Lampeter 2nd XV, crossing the opposition's line five times to Lampeter's three.

Although playing on an extremely muddy surface, it was a spectacle to watch, with both sides playing open rugby and all tries coming from broken play, with forwards linking with backs, reminiscent of the old Babas' style of play - something that stand-in coach Andrew Rose insists on.

Tries came from ever-present Adam Rees (2), powerful runner Harry Bolton (2) and, playing out of his usual position of hooker in the back row, Michael Lewis (capt.), playing like a shorter version of Neil Back.

Although coach Chris (Niffy) Brace was away on a long-needed rest, he would be proud of the team's performance.

Team manager Andrew Rose would like to thank all players for their commitment on the field, especially Gareth Noot, Harry Bolton and Hayden John for standing in at the last minute; also, first aid and water boy Russ Milnes and helpers on the line. Special thanks to the ever-growing band of supporters and referee Gethin (Bimbo) Evans for contributing to a well controlled and entertaining game.

Team: C. Hamilton, Lou Brace, Ed Pritchard, Mark Badham, Adam Rees, Justin Richards, Michael Lewis (capt.), Hayden John, Gareth Thomas, Dylan Lawrence, Harry Bolton, James Davies, Mark Wooles, Jason Newell, Gareth Noot.
