Tenby Sea Cadets have received a boost thanks to the generous fundraising efforts of a camp site’s warden.
On Monday, September 8, cadets were presented at their headquarters at Tenby Harbour with a donation from Andrea Le Good - a warden from Meadow Farm camp site, based at the seaside town’s North Cliff.
“At the beginning of the season, I posted on the ‘Tenby’ Facebook page for a charity/cause to raise funds for and many replied for Tenby Sea Cadets,” explained Andrea.
Over the season, Andrea, who is also a qualified hairdresser has cut people’s hair at £5 a time to help raise funds, as well as painting rocks to boost the donation.
“So after months of haircuts and hand painted rocks I have managed to raise £832, from mid March until now,” she explained, having previously fundraised for the Wales Air Ambulance and Tenby RNLI.
Meadow Farm camp site shared on social media: “Many of you may or may not be aware, but every year our warden ‘Ang’ selects a local charity for her fundraising challenge throughout the current camping Season.
“The charity that she chose for 2025 was the local Tenby Sea Cadets and this year she has performed a pb in her fundraising efforts by raising a massive £832 through selling her painted pebbles and guest haircuts on site!

“The local group are absolutely ecstatic with Ang's mammoth efforts. So a big shout out to not only all our kind and generous guests who have donated this year, but also to Ang for all her efforts - thank you!”
Now in her fourth year in the role, Andrea says she and her husband have been blessed with great bosses, an amazing job, and even joined Tenby Rowing Club this year!
“We both love to give back to the community,” she added.
