The Cadets also took part that weekend in a District Shooting Competition in Haverfordwest where they are awaiting the full results.
FLAG DAY
Tenby Sea Cadet Unit held their annual Flag Day on Thursday, August 8. The total raised was £312.59.
Permit holder: Trisha Putwain. Collectors: Roy Broxham, Keith Peachey, Trisha Putwain, Sara and Mario Fecci, Tina Clements, Wayne Bradfield and A J. Taylor.
Cadet helpers: Tommy D'Ortez, Angelo Fecci, Stephen Bradfield, Ross Davies and Gareth Davies.
Summer
Spectaculars
The Spectaculars saw the sale of around 2000 Welshcakes, plus 'buried treasure" and other competitions, as well as a book stall, resulting in takings of nearly £400 for the unit funds. Thanks to Tenby Round Table for allowing us to participate, and to The Dinosaur Park, D. Fecci and Sons, the committee members for the donation of prizes.
Standard BEARERS
OC Tommy D'Ortez carried the Sea Cadets colours and OC Gareth Davis carried the Sea Cadets standard at the recent service at St. Mary's Church, Tenby, to commemorate the Battle of Britain (two Sundays ago, this weekend)
