Darts: A reminder that there is a home match this evening.
Cheese and Cawl evening: The cheese and cawl evening was a great success. Thanks again to Terry for his efforts.
Forthcoming events: A few events coming up this month to note include the following:
Sunday, March 15 - working party to get club boats ready for the coming season, starts 10 am. The more that turn up the sooner it will finish!
Wednesday, March 18 - jam session at the club.
Saturday afternoon, March 28 - safety boat training day and flares demonstration. Anyone wishing to help out this coming season is invited to come along and brush up their skills of handling our safety boats and laying marks etc.
Following this, there will be refreshments and finally a talk on the use of flares with a demonstration at 8 pm at the pier given by the local sea safety officer. This will be a unique opportunity to familiarise sailors with the safe use of flares.
Wednesday, April 8 - junior training registration evening. Please ring Blake on 01834 842535 for further details.
Annual subscriptions: It's that time of the year. Annual subscriptions are now due. Would members please note, we have some major capital spends scheduled, hence the plea. A newsletter and fixture card will be posted out shortly.
Club openings: The opening hours have reverted to Friday and Saturday evenings, with the occasional function thrown in. Any time variation will be published in advance. On a procedural note, would members please have their membership cards to hand as temporary bar staff may not know the identity of all our members?
Website: Information on club activities etc can be found on the club's website.
Future events: A social calendar is being prepared - watch this space.
This is a very friendly and welcoming club, which endeavours to involve all members in a variety of activities. If anyone would like to join us, now is an ideal time, especially with the discount still on offer. Contact any member who will be delighted to furnish you with further details.
