Wednesday saw another full turnout of enthusiastic trainees enjoying ideal conditions. Terry Evans and Paul Johnson put the youngsters through their paces. Praise must go to Angelo Fecci for his sterling efforts throughout the evening, especially when a safety boat winch and he had an argument.
Angelo's tenacity won the day! Many thanks to Terry and Karin Morris for the usual world famous BBQ.
Racing
Sunday attracted a large turnout, which enjoyed fair sailing conditions. Unfortunately, the divine GP14 was conspicuous by its absence, much to the relief of the rest of the fleet.
Racing was close between the usual groups, with the final 1-2-3 as follows: Daniel Jackson in a RS600; Ted Lewis in a Phantom; Tommy D'Ortez in a Laser.

Passage Race
Despite the strong easterly, a large number of cruisers made the journey from Hobbs Point to Tenby. The first cruiser finished around 2.30 pm, while the last one over the line finished about 8.30 pm, demonstrating the handicap range of the craft taking part.
The winner of the PY section was Serifos, with John Griffiths in Tejeda coming second and Daniel Jackson coming third in Artful Dodger. All were treated to a phenomenal Terry Evans BBQ, ably assisted by Ruth Tebbutt.
Blues Jam Evening
This popular event takes place next Wednesday, June 21, at the usual time. Please support these talented musicians who so freely give of their time. As an added incentive, don't forget the universally acclaimed Terry Evans BBQ.

The clubhouse will be open every evening, except Mondays and occasional Sundays, until September. Doors open at 7 pm, unless otherwise stated.
