At the last meeting of Tenby RNLI Fundraising Committee, thanks were extended to all who had made the Annual Pancake Races such a resounding success. Next year will be the 10th anniversary of this event, so watch this space for some exciting additions to the morning.
Thanks must also go to Matthew Ronowitz and the staff at the Qube for a very successful Fish and Chip Supper held on March 1. It was a great evening with great company and some of the best fish and chips in town. Matthew will be presenting a cheque to Tenby RNLI coxswain, Phil John next week.
The next event is to be held at Tenby Sailing Club on Friday, April 5, when we will put our brains to work at one of Terry Evans’s famous quizzes, and enjoy a delicious Bangers and Mash supper. Tickets cost £10 and are available from Dales’s Music Shop, Morris Bros or the RNLI shop. Don’t worry if you’re on your own. There’ll be plenty of teams looking for extra people.
Don’t forget that the RNLI shop at the Boathouse is open now, with an exciting array of new merchandise. We are the second most profitable store in the UK. Why not call in and help to make it Number 1.
