It’s never long before you’ll find The Qube Restaurant in the paper for some charitable deed or other.
Most recently the local eatery located in the centre of Tenby on Tudor Square, held a Burn’s Night celebration supporting the local ‘Save The Children’ organisation, and pulled out all the stops!
During the night, held on January 25, bagpipes and traditional songs could be heard in the Square, as the popular Scottish celebration was in full swing.
Inside, guests enjoyed a traditional three course meal, including such classics as ‘Cullen Skink’, Haggis and ‘Cranachan’.
Between the profits and raffle, the jolly event raised £735 for ‘Save The Children’ as well as bringing some much needed celebration to an otherwise sleepy January.
Not only are Qube raising funds, but raising awareness too, as the restaurant became one of the first local businesses to take part in a ‘Dementia Awareness’ course, improving their knowledge in order to better accommodate the more vulnerable within the community.
The Qube has long since established itself as a community-driven restaurant, and look forward to seeing what’s in store for the rest of the year.
