A service to mark Armistice Day was held at Tenby’s War Memorial this morning.

The service to mark the day WWI ended, at 11 am on the 11th day of the 11th month, back in 1918, took place at the cenotaph on South Parade.

The town’s Mayor, and members of the town council were in attendance, along with members of the Air Training Corps, and chairman of the Tenby branch of the Royal British Legion, Gordon Prime.A bagpipe lament was played by Graham Price, while trumpeter Peter Greenway sounded The Last Post.

The Remembrance Sunday parade in Tenby will proceed at 10.45 am, from The Hazelwell Club, with the service also at the cenotaph at 11 am.
