On Monday, the Tenby Project gathered to prepare for their usual coffee morning in Augustus Place Community Hall.
By 11 am everything was ready and people started to arrive. There was lots of discussion about recent events, including the Ironman competition, and the new King.
A discussion was also held about whether to open this week or not, and the majority of people thought they would like to be able to come to the project to watch the funeral together and to be able to talk about it with their friends, so it was decided to continue with the Tenby Project on the bank holiday.
After making an omelette for lunch, the group raced around tidying things up ready for the tuk tuk ride.
This was a bit nerve wracking for some people, as it seems such a strange way to get around the place, but everyone soon got used to it, and had a great time waving to anyone they knew, and indeed pointing out places where people they knew lived.
There can’t have been very much of Tenby that wasn’t covered in the journey, thanks to the lovely driver from Tuk Tuk Time.
This Monday, September 19, the Tenby Project will be meeting as usual, and people are welcome to come along as usual for the coffee morning.
In the afternoon the plan is to do some craft and watch a movie.
Again, anyone is welcome to come along and join us. There is always tea or coffee and a chance for a chat!
