Tenby Museum and Art Gallery will be closing for the Christmas period on Friday, December 21, and will re-open on Monday, January 7. The first art exhibition of the New Year will be Doug Perry: An Exhibition of Retrospective and Current Work. The exhibition of work by this popular and well- known local artist, will be formally opened by Dr. Hywel Thomas on January 11 and the show will run until February 1. 2008 promises to be another busy year for the museum with 13 temporary art shows, the provision of an audio tour, the refurbishment of the archaeology gallery, a newly-refurbished shop area and the provision of a renovated refreshment area offering the opportunity for a beverage whilst enjoying the wonderful view over Carmarthen Bay being just some of the plans the museum has for next year. The museum would like to thank everyone who has supported its work throughout 2007 and hopes to see everyone again in the new year.
