On October 9, Tenby Male Choir were “honoured to help celebrate the wedding of Jonathan and Sophie at St. Cewydd & St. Peter’s Church, Steynton.”
“We wish the bride and groom every happiness for their future,” said a spokesman for the choir.
Bride Sophie, now Mrs Coe, sent her thanks to the choir. “Thank you so much for singing at our wedding ceremony. All of the guests thoroughly enjoyed it.”
This was the Choir’s first performance since they sang for Wales vs Barbarians at the Principality Stadium, Cardiff, in November 2019. At the request of the Vicar of St Cewydd & St Peter the choir sang in masks, but this minor adjustment didn’t detract from the contribution they were able to make to the couple’s happy day.
Tenby Male Choir recommenced their weekly practices in July and are currently preparing a forthcoming concert programme. They welcome new members young and old, experienced choristers or novices, to join them in enjoying singing, entertaining the public and raising funds for charitable causes. So instead of just singing in the bath or shower, why not drop an email to the Secretary, Terry Evans, at [email protected] and they will arrange for you to go along and meet them in rehearsal!
