Tenby has been in full bloom this week for the 34th annual Tenby in Bloom competition. Judging in the popular event took place on Wednesday, and with a high standard of entries, the judges had a difficult job in choosing the winners. The awards will be presented by the president of Tenby in Bloom, the Mayor, Clr. Trevor Hallett, on Thursday, July 20, at 10.30 am in the Giltar Hotel. Results were are as follows:

Private Houses

Class 1 (best garden visible from the road): 1. Valerie Church, 13 Oakridge Acres; 2. Michelle Hinde, 19 The Clicketts. Class 2 (best forecourt without garden): 1. Robin Scanlon, 3 Augustus Place; 2. Harry Luxton, 5 Rocky Park. Class 3 (best display with window boxes/hanging baskets etc only): 1. Betty Beynon, 6 The Glebe; 2.
