Outgoing chairman Jayne Osborne handed over the chain office to Sian Slack at Tenby Ladies Circle annual handover recently.

The girls enjoyed a wonderful meal at Trefloyne Golf Club, followed by an entertaining speech by Jayne and the introduction of new officers for 2009/10 who will be supporting Sian in the forthcoming year.

Thanks to Helen, and their staff for an excellent meal and to Cath Graham for organising the night.

The May meeting was held at the home of new chairman Sian Slack. 

Sian welcomed president Debs and honouree members Michelle and Julia to their last meeting.  

Sian reported on an enjoyable evening spent at the Soroptimist handover, whilst Brenda gave her report on the Circle handover via a computer link-up.  

The officers for this year are: Sian Slack - chairman; Kirsty Willing - vice-chairman and minute secretary; Cath Graham - treasurer; Kath Morgan - correspondence secretary; Charlotte Key - entertainments; Emma Charlotte - press and publicity; Jayne Osborne - area delegate.

Chairman Sian asked the girls for ideas for chosen charities for her year.

Dates for the diary: June 7 - Llys y Fran walk in aid of Diabetes; June 23 - Area Handover, cheques to Sian as soon as possible if you wish to attend; June 27 - full length and fabulous ball in De Valance in aid of NSPCC (names to Sian); July 2-5 -Flower Festival; July 4 - Area Meeting in Llwchr; July 26 and August 9 - Summer Spectaculars; May 15, 1010 - national conference in Harrogate.

Area chairman Marsha's theme for the year is'Be cool with Circle'.

The new president for Tenby is Karen Tully, with Debbie Davies as honouree member.

The meeting closed with a cake to celebrate Deb's recent birthday.

The next meeting will be on June 11 at the home of Brenda Dooner.
