Chairman Jayne welcomed members, president Debs and honorary members, Michelle and Julia, to the February meeting, which was held at the St. Brides Hotel, Saundersfoot.

Chairman Jayne's first job of the evening was the pleasure of inducting new member, Emma Charlett.

Sian gave an amusing report on the Area Ball held on January 24 at the Cleddau Bridge Hotel, when the main entertainment for the night was the 'Two Bobs', and not forgetting that Ellin had had a pedicure.

Chairman Jayne reported on the Auction of Promises and thanked everyone for their help and support. It was a fantastic night and all their hard work was rewarded when they raised over £4,500.

The Area meeting in Carmarthen was attended by chairman Jayne, Edna and president Debs. The next meeting will be on April 24 in Ammanford, with the venue to be confirmed.

It was hoped to arrange a visit to Tenby Museum and Art Gallery, Missing Wales, Wales Air Ambulance and the Pembrokeshire Special Needs Gymnastic Club, so that they can be presented with their donations from the monies raised at the Auction of Promises.

March 12 - Invite from the RNLI to a quiz at the Bowling Club; March 15 - Invite from Tenby and District Soroptimists to a charity luncheon at Heywood Mount Hotel; April 8 - Annual general meeting at Michelle's; May 8/9 - National Conference in Eastbourne; May 9 - Handover dinner, venue to be confirmed; May 10 - Race for Life, Scolton Manor, Haverfordwest, 11 am; June 13 - Area handover, venue to be confirmed; June 27 - Midland and Wales regional lunch at the Copthorne Hotel, Dudley, 11.30 am for pre-luncheon cocktails.
