Clr. Trevor Hallett, Mayor of Tenby, visited the school before half-term to present each and every child a commemorative coin for the Queen's Jubilee from the town council. Here are the ambassadors Jasmine and Lewis receiving theirs from the Mayor.

Bike it to school

As part of the Sustrans project, Tenby Junior School pupils were given the challenge to cycle or scoot for 15 continuous days and complete 15 routes around the British Isles.

Each day, the junior road safety officers would record who had made the journey to school on their bike or scooter, including staff and parents.

This was a national challenge for all schools across Britain, with over 800 schools taking part.

Thanks to the superb effort of pupils, parents and staff, Tenby Junior School came fourth in Wales and 85th overall! An excellent achievement which earned them a scooter pod. Congratulations to all who took part.
