Tenby Under 13s played Whitland at Heywood Lane on Saturday. Tenby started off confidently, but were soon bought back down to earth as Whitland ran in an easy try. This seemed to wake up the Tenby boys, who soon took the lead with a brace of tries from Greg Caine, one coming from a lovely pass from stand-in scrum-half Luke Hicks. Greg Caine got his third try in the second half, with others coming from Elliot Randell, who crossed the line under the posts, making it easy for Greg Palin, who had a great game, kicking four out of six conversions and getting a try. Captain Dylan Griffin also topped off a great match with a lovely try in the corner, making the final score 38-10. All the Tenby boys played well, while Dominic Hicks was named man-of-the-match, having an outstanding match and always going forward with the ball. Coaches Myrddin and Dave have a great team on their hands. Tenby fielded: Dylan Griffin (capt.), Wesley Bonser, Ben Prestwich, Cameron Wood, Adam North, James Oakley, Matthew Lewis, Rob Luly, Henry Whittaker, Joe Dennis, Elliot Randell, Ben Thomas, Greg Caine, Henry Pritchard Jones, Jake Procter, Luke Hicks, Andrew Murphy, Lloyd Hill.
