The Ladies' captain, Nesta Hart, organised the annual spring outing to the Vale Hotel, Golf and Spa Resort, near Cardiff. A good time was had by all. First day results: 1. Rhian Walters; 2. Ann Follon; 3. Ruth Goldwait; 4. Mel Smith. Second day results: 1. Linda Thomas; 2. Jeanette Leeke; 3. Vera Davies, Ann Follon, Mair Evans, Barbara Morris and Ruth Goldwait. Pam Cole was the only one to get a 'birdie' on this difficult course. All the staff made sure the ladies had a memorable time at 'The Vale'.
