Under 11s

Tenby Under 11s had two matches against Goodwick and Burton at Burton last Sunday. Despite the recent bad weather, the pitch was firm underfoot and contributed to two good games of football. Tenby met Burton first and won the game 4-1, with Holly Furlong scoring all four goals, including one straight from kick-off. Chloe Wilson played superbly, chasing every ball and challenging players twice her size. Safiya Rooney made a cracking debut, with good defending skills, and she was well-supported by Toni-Leigh Dagg. Ella Harley showed safe hands in the Tenby goal. The second game was closer, with Tenby going 2-0 up, again with Holly scoring two good goals. Goodwick pulled one back and the Tenby girls battled well for the last five minutes to gain the three points. Under 15s

With many players away over Easter, it fell on the Under 13s side to fulfil the Under 15s matches. They were only able to field six players against Goodwick's seven, but those six played their hearts out. Tenby were unlucky to go a goal down after a sustained period of pressure on the Goodwick goal. Maisie John and Natalie Williams were awesome in defence and Kimberly Alman was outstanding in the Tenby goal. Jessica Webb and Christina Smith covered a lot of ground and tackled back well. Ozzy was the lone player up front and held the ball up. Tenby went close on several occasions, before Christina equalised to share the points. The match against Burton was just as exciting, with the Tenby side going 1-0 through Christina. Burton equalised, before Ozzy put Tenby ahead after following up a long shot by Maisie. Just as it looked like Tenby would pick up three points, Burton scored again. Despite being a player short, the Tenby girls battled well and all played like real heroes.

Under 13s

The Under 13s were due to play two matches, but after playing two tough fixtures already, they were very tired against Goodwick and went down 4-0 . They conceded their last match against Burton. The coaches and the supporters were all very proud of the girls. Under 13s/15s: Kimberly Alman, Maisie John, Jessica Webb, Ozzy, Natalie Williams, Christina Smith.
