TENBY U10s 8
MERLINS BRIDGE B U10s 0
Tenby U10s, playing their first game of the new year, kicked off and went straight into an attacking mode, with Daryl Mansbridge scoring after only two minutes.
Tenby continued to go forward at every opportunity, with Daryl hitting the net again from a Lloyd Thomas through ball.
Tenby were now playing good passing football and they grabbed a third from Mickey Robins.
Merlins Bridge could not contain the Tenby attacks and a fourth goal came with Lloyd scoring after some lovely interpassing. Within a minute, Mickey made it five.
Tenby's defence had little to do, but when called upon, Cerith David and Lewis covered and tackled well, leaving Stephen Phillips in goal a pedestrian.
Just before the half-time whistle, Ianto Griffiths broke down the left and fired an unstoppable shot into the net, giving the goalie no chance.
The second half saw Stephen come off feeling very cold and being replaced by Henry Lawrence, who has obviously been watching Bartez too much as he stood on halfway most of the time!
Tenby seemed to take their foot off the pedal and allowed the Bridge to get into the game, but still managed to set up good attacks, with Sam Ormond going close on one occasion and Tom Nicholas scoring an another to make it seven.
The Bridge attacked Tenby's goal a lot more and it took a great sliding tackle from Henry, who was still outside his area, to prevent them scoring.
In the final minute of the game, Tenby won a corner and as the ball came into the area there was Daryl to head it in for his hat-trick - a great birthday present for next day Daryl!
Well played lads.
SAUNDERFOOT U16s 0 TENBY U16s 0
The Lewis, Lewis and Co, Solicitors, sponsored Tenby Under 16s travelled the short distance to local rivals Saundersfoot for their last league game of the season.
In a hard fought match, superbly controlled by Colin Newbury, both sides attempted to play good passing football, but they were slightly hampered by a heavy, sticky pitch.
As the score suggests, it was a tight game, with both defences playing very well.
For Saundersfoot, Jason Llama, James Thomas, Richard Haines and Luke Wallace worked well as a unit, as did their counterparts from Tenby in the shape of Scott Smith, Darren Taylor and Tom and Simon Hilling.
With both defences in such fine form, chances were very limited. Tenby's Tom Page saw his shot go just wide, so did Jack Christopher with a glancing header, while David Day's free-kick was scrambled off the line.
At the other end, Ben Gray hit the side netting and Leo Branch was clean through, but Tom Hilling produced a 'Scott Young' goal-saving tackle.
Towards the end of the match, Saundersfoot had a string of free-kicks, but could not convert any. Daniel Caine and Dan Cope for the home and visitors sides, respectively, had excellent games in midfield.
Tenby squad: C. Iddon, T. Hilling, D. Taylor, S. Smith, S. Hilling, D. Cope, P. Broadhurst, D. Day, D. Otton, J. Christopher, T. Page, M. Birch, L. Hurlow, L. Robson.

HUNDLETON 3
This was the Manpower sponsored U14s' first clash of the season with Hundleton.
The Seasiders started briskly and soon took control the game, showing that when they settle into playing a basic passing game, they are hard to match.
Lloyd Wilson set up the first for Luc Barford who thumped the ball into the net for a fine opening goal.
Tenby kept up the pressure and had Hundleton running around in circles.
In the space of 10 minutes, Hundleton were forced to clear three goal attempts off the line, as the Tenby side excelled.
Tenby were playing such a well controlled game that 20 minutes into the game Hundleton hadn't even had a shot at goal.
With 10 minutes of the first-half to go, Tenby lost their momentum and started to hoof the ball, with all discipline going out of the window; they looked a different side to the one in the first 20 minutes. They were losing possession through sloppy passing and this gave Hundleton the opportunity to get back into the game and it was now Tenby who had to defend. With five minutes to go, Hundleton scored on the break making it 1-1 at half-time.
A resounding half-time talk was given which paid off as once again Tenby excelled. Within minutes, Ben Field-Thomas put a great through ball to Bruce Tasker who impressively slotted away Tenby's second.
Tenby kept applying the pressure and Hundleton were again forced to make two goal-saving clearances.
A well placed corner from Tasker found Adam Ball who headed the ball to Scott Evans who made no mistake in scoring his first in a Tenby shirt and Tenby's third.
With the score at 3-1, things looked comfortable for Tenby and they contained the pressure until the last 10 minutes when again they became sloppy, allowing Hundleton back into the game. Two goals were scored in quick succession, bringing the score level at 3-3.
A battle now ensued and Tenby once again raised their game, but all attempts at goal either just missed the target or were saved. Tenby had at least 10 attempts at goal to Hundleton's five, but only three went in for each side. Well that's football.
It was, however, a fine game from both sides which was played in the true spirit of the game and was a pleasure to watch. Looking forward to meeting Hundleton next week for the away fixture. Well done lads.
Squad: James Llewelyn, Rhys Thomas, Muthalib Sofan, Ben Field-Thomas, Johnny Wilson, Lloyd Wilson, Adam Ball, Sonny Phillips, Scott Evans, Luc Barford, Bruce Tasker, Paul Rossi, Andrew Birch, Paul Griffiths.
