Tenby U16s 6
Camrose U16s 0
Tenby played well throughout the match and were rewarded for all the effort they had put in. The scoreline didn't really reflect the game, with Tenby creating chance after chance, but Camrose kept going for the whole of the match.
Rhys Jenkins opened the scoring after a clever cross from Jerome Mansbridge. New signing Tommy John scored a debut goal and worked hard throughout the game before Mansbridge put Tenby 3-0 ahead at half-time.
Shaun Whitfield and Rheinallt George defended maturely in the centre and Jacob Dent and Nathan Wilson had plenty to do coping with Camrose's fast forwards.
George Wilkins and Richard Tebbutt controlled the midfield and supplied plenty of ball to winger Norton Williams and the Tenby forwards.
Lewis Roberts handled well in the Tenby goal and was pleased to keep a clean sheet.
In the second half, Aaron James came on and linked well with Mansbridge and John. Mansbridge added two more goals, before Jenkins scored his second, making the final score 6-0 to Tenby.
This was a very good team performance and the boys are looking forward to their West Wales Cup match next week against Narberth.
Tenby squad: Lewis Roberts, Shaun Whitfield, Jacob Dent, Rhys Jenkins, Richard Tebbutt, George Wilkins, Nathan Wilson, Jerome Mansbridge, Rheinallt George, Norton Williams, Tommy John, Aaron James.
Player-of-the-match: Shaun Whitfield.
Fishguard Road 1 Tenby U10s 8
Tenby Under 10s, sponsored by Quay West of Newquay, travelled the long journey north to Fishguard.
As the score suggests, it was very much a one-sided game, although there was a slight twist.
Tenby started in super fashion, passing the ball with great skill and precision and created several good chances.
But, just when a goal seemed imminent for the visitors, Fishguard stole up the field and netted the first.
However, apart from a couple of shots in the second half, which Dylan Noot comfortably saved, Fishguard never really threatened the Tenby goal.
After the initial shock of the home side's goal, Tenby upped the tempo even more. Darren Gibson equalised from close range and the outstanding Rueban James scored the first of his goals.
Incredibly, Tenby couldn't improve on their score before the break.
The second half saw the floodgates open, with Tenby scoring six goals without reply.
Gibson grabbed his second of the game and a long shot from Rhys Morgan went in off the post. James Gardner almost opened his account, but his shot unfortunately came back off the post.
Tom Wright got his customary goal and Morgan completed his brace. But the star of the show, Rueban James, finished the game with a well-deserved hat-trick, following two excellent shots.
Tenby U12s 14 Haverfordwest County U12s 1
Tenby travelled to the county ground on a bright sunny morning with the aim of playing fast, entertaining football - and that's certainly what we got.
Jack Mills in goal made some fine saves and was only beaten on one occasion, a penalty awarded to Haverfordwest which was blasted in the top corner well out of Jack's reach.
The defence of Thomas Rees, Dylan Scotcher, Harry Cook and guest appearance by Henry McBeth, were as solid as ever - Henry also managed to get on the scoresheet with a fine individual goal. Always first to the challenge and not panicking on the ball, but playing some great passes out of defence immediately resulting in attack.
Harry Cook was moved to his old position of centre forward for the last 20 minutes and, although he has had a superb season at centre half this year, showed he still has an eye for goal, picking up a hat-trick for his efforts - well done Harry.
A strong, talented midfield of Max Brindley, Harri Williams, Herbie Haggar and Brandon Williams totally controlled the game playing some fine one-touch football which Haverfordwest found difficult to defend.
Max Brindley was on top form, spraying the ball around the park to open up the game and slice the defence wide open - Max scored a hat-trick, including a 25-yard screamer!
Harri Williams bossed the midfield, combining well with both his midfield and centre forwardand supplying some great crosses which were almost impossible to defend.
Harri scored a fine goal, chipping the 'keeper from some distance. Fin Bowie worked tirelessly up and down the left side of the pitch, putting in some goal-saving tackles and also supplying some superb crosses in attack.
The silky skills of Herbie Haggar were sometimes too much for the Haverfordwest players and resulted in him picking up two goals - one superb effort where he nutmegged the defender and placed it round the 'keeper as he closed him down.
Brandon Williams is fitting in well to his midfield position and showed some great skill on occasions whilst always working hard to get back and defend whenever under pressure.
Billy Lawrence found himself upfront this game, partnering Aidan Fraser. Both forwards held the ball up well, always looking to bring the attacking midfielders into the game. Billy scored a fine solo effort, wiggling his way through the defence to spin and strike the ball in the top corner.
Aidan Fraser is starting to work the pitch well as a target man, creating many chances for his team as well as himself and scored a great hat-trick - one a cracking volley from a special Harri Williams cross.
Well done boys, a great game where you continued to try and play football until the final whistle.
